This is a game I recently played on WBaduk. This one game is a "rare" game where I thought over my moves. Usually I just dropped the stones. I was leading but I didn't realize that and continue the ko fight at the bottom left. Luckily my opponent didn't realize his chance to win the game and I won the game.

I put the game on eidogo since the usual sgf viewer I use has problem with showing variations, so it's more comfortable tu put a game with many variations on eidogo. Check it out and drop some inputs guys :)

FII Survival Team Tournament (11)
This is the newest game of the Survival tournament. White was Mr. Daniel and black was my team mate, Ms. Miranti.
In this game, white got advantage early in the game, however, black fought very hard and managed to capture white group in the bottom. Black continued her crusade and won the game in the yose. Miranti won the game by a mere 0.5 points. With his lost, Daniel's team has been eliminated from the tournament.

FII Survival Team Tournament
Recently Indonesia Igo Federation (it's called FII here) held an online team tournament. It's a team tournament using win and continue system, like the one Nongshim and Jeongganjang use.

Game Review (2) Break the Streak
It's been awhile since the last time I wrote about my game review (the last time it was August 2009), so since I got time to write about it, I'll post it now.
Recently I'm in a really nasty losing streak. This is the first game I won in a while.
Black:TigerBaduk(1k) White:Biondy(1k)
Move 1-50
Move 7 : It's more usual to play at C6, but I think this move is fine.
Move 11: I usually play the hiraki at thia position. Keeping the B4-C3 exchange in reserve.
Move 32: I think it's too heavy to directly connect the group, so I decided to jump to the center. Even if black cut at L17, I think I can still play for influence in the center, using these stones and my right side (but I'm not sure though)
Move 38: The last big point I think...
Move 43: All right. Game on!
Move 51-100
Move 80: I want to strenghten my group here. I'm not sure this is a good move for it.
Move 86: I should cross cut here.
Move 97: Up to here, I'm not satisfied with the result in the right side.
Move 101-150
Move 101: A good move, however the follow up is a mistake I think.
Move 103: Should extend to K11
Move 124: The result is good for me.
Move 140: I was too greedy here. Should just simply connect at K7
Move 151-200
Move 151: The proper choice. Black can't cut at O8, due to the follow up (WP7, BQ7,WQ8)
Move 185: I think black will still alive even if he decided to save the two stones. I think I'll lose the game if black decide to save the two stones.
Move 201-250
The rest is a simple endgame. Nothing tricky at the end game.
Move 251-300
White won the game by 6.5 points at move 301.

Game Review (1)
This is the recent game I played at KGS. I think I'll start to make a game review in this blog. I'll review either my game or others' that I think suitable for me.
White (Biondy, 1k) vs. Black (Zealda, 1k)
B11 is not very good, since the result is slightly favorable for white.
B15 is a new move. The usual joseki would be (15. B-Q3,W-N3,B-R5,W-Q6,B-Q5,W-S5,B-S4,W-O6). I think B15 is not good, since black ended in gote
W20 is perhaps a mistake in direction. Maybe it's better to approach from the other side
B23 was good. Punishing white's apporach
B35 was strange. Is it better to play at O17 or N17?
W38 is also strange..
B41 was bad timing I think. Since it weaken black's stone at G16
W52 and W54 white's aim were to cut the two groups.
At B69, I think the cut at N14 is better, since it gave black better chance to escape
